Invalid CSRF token & "Failed login attempt" errors

I have successfully been able to bind my domain to my nodebb installation via the use of these instructions on the documents by nodebb , but upon trying to login to my nodebb install via the domain name , I get errors like :
Failed login attempt, please try again. Forbidden
AND
invalid csrf token
How do I get rid of these errors and get login to work smoothly?

Potentially your vanilla theme is out of date, what are the versions of vanilla and your current theme?

It ended up being a DNS issue. I didnt know DNS propagation affected the signin process on nodebb.

Do you think you can elaborate on this point and how you fixed it? Currently experiencing the same issue after leaving work and using my home computer to login to the forum.
