site's been 503 all f'n day.. support guy who picked up the ticket this morning did zilch and then passed the buck to the next guy.. hopefully this guy tends to it.. last nights tech dropped the ball and site went poof lol.. then he left work!!!
so hopefully they fix the issue tonight.. shame cause we're so close to having it all right.. i'd have liked to get a little work done on it today.

@OutlawedOffroad, how much are you paying for LW? I'm sure you could get a better deal over at DigitalOcean and have a decent setup for your forum.

The 2 bigger forums are on this server already so it's effectively free..

I actually enjoy messing with and breaking things. Especially on a site that's not live.
But now the proxy issues are fucking up the 2 main forums which is going to be an issues I'm not willing to deal with.
Might be worth the $5 a month for a basic account just to not have to deal with any of the bullshit. it's 1/2 the ram but in the end probably more since the other 2 sites eat up most of that as it is I'm sure.

Been using DigitalOcean for a little over three months. Great service and a great price.
Note: Turning off your VPS still costs per hour. You need to create a snapshot and destroy the VPS entirely. You can create a new VPS from an image indefinitely within minutes.
Some people complain about the support- but I've gotten 4/4 responses on new tickets within an hour (some almost instantly in the support world).
They've got my recommendation as well.
