Fixed another bug that caused the forum to crash when a new user tried to access their pushbullet settings -- we should be good to go now, fingers crossed.

If someone starts a chat with you and you use the firefox plugin, it automatically tries opening the URL.

The URL looks like this:

https://community.nodebb.orgjavascript:app.openChat('bentael', 302);

As you can imagine, it doesn't work.

The address isn't valid
The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

@julian Hello do you think Pushbullet could be used also bi-directionally? I mean, could it be used to push a message to nodebb?
In future, do you think PB could be used to reply to a message on the fly? Something like whatsapp.

@Giorgio-Chiodi That would require an appllication wouldn't it? Especially on mobile. As it's literally just a notification, you have to action it. So unless Pushbullet added that, I can't see it happening, what I would like to see is configurable action buttons below the notification on Android for example, the share and copy are a bit, generic. Reply and Mark Read would be cool though, which just takes you to thread and quote.

@a_5mith It doesn't necessarily need an application for now, data could be pushed via a service like IFTTT - I'm thinking about twitter and facebook updates and other services.

@Giorgio-Chiodi So if notification from pushbullet do... what? I like the idea of making it accessible to all, but not sure how it would be easily implemented. Bear in mind people have to set this all up.

if new twitter update (maybe the official website account)
then push it to pushbullet, which in turn it pushes it to nodebb

It could also be used so that every user could have their social network status updates on nodebb via pushbullet (on their profile pages or something)

After NodeBB 0.5 is released any plans to release the Pushbullet plugin?

One notification for each post (also if posted to only one topic) is some days to much g

@pwFoo Agreed -- at current, the underlying library (Pushbullet) doesn't support that, although they're looking into implementing it...

Could notifications devided into a notification manager (should a notification be send?) at nodebb side and a notification gateway (for example pushbullet) to really send a message?
