send notification for groups

When the number of group members increases, why don't they receive a notification if the group members are mentioned? And what to do receive notifications??

It was changed ~3 years ago, you can find the details here https://github.com/julianlam/nodebb-plugin-mentions/commit/c796b437eaa4b48696c09ac744ceabf958ee1acf.

Short version is mentioning a group with a million users would result in alot of notifications being sent. Same reason why you can't mention registered-users, verified-users groups.

but our groups member have just ~ 37k member and one of the groups have ~2k member
i want to active notification for them
