@goik You will need to have the plugin call await user.email.confirmByUid(uid); when the account is created.
But a different question -- do you need to have the account confirmed? By default privileges are set up so that both confirmed and unconfirmed accounts can post new topic/replies, etc., so there is no functional difference except that outgoing emails won't be sent to unconfirmed emails.
If it's merely to "check a box", then maybe it is ok to just not confirm any emails.
Might be the plugin needs updating to auto-confirm email addresses.
@julian That seems most logical keybinding to me. Else maybe Shift-Enter if Ctrl-Enter conflicts with some DE or other.
Aye, and therein lies the rub: With so many different WM's and DE's these days might be a challenge to find a binding not already in use somewhere. On related note, best also check major browser vendor keybindings.
That said, I am not aware of anything that would conflict with Ctrl-Enter.
Let's say within the next 50 years, holographic technology is perfected. Truly immersive gaming is now possible, FPS and RPG gamers rejoice. Think of your Call of Duty players, Skyrim, etc.
What happens to those humble RTS gamers (Age of Empires, Civilization, etc...) will they be forever relegated to using a clunky old monitor/keyboard/mouse?
If RTS games were to make it in a holographic format, what would even look like? God-mode style hovering over a battlefield, with floating controls? That'd certainly look nice, but you'd sacrifice the ability to micro in exchange for aesthetics, and I think that's something a lot of hardcore players wouldn't want.
