I reckon cruise is very useful. As I get older, my hands hurt more. I'm seriously considering adding an aftermarket Veridian cruise control to the 690, so that they hurt less, and most importantly, I can continue enjoying riding.
Not to mention that cruise enables consistent speeds, no more happily tooling along, glancing down and realising you've been enjoying yourself so much that you're 30km/h over the limit 
- not me, I would never, but...

But, my dealer wants a bank cheque. A WHAT? Is it still last century? FFS. 
My account doesn't even offer bank cheques - it took a 40km round trip to find this out... I didn't know, because who uses bank cheques anymore? Not me! I can only get one if I transfer money to a bank with obsolete services, & visit in person (30km round trip, opposite direction).
The dealer says this is the easiest/most reliable way. 
I remember riding my mate's CB1100 Bol d'or (rolladoor). It went ok, but not as fast as I expected, at least not until I dropped it down 2 gears, got it revving, then it took off. Handling was scary though. Suspension was crap in the 80s/90s.
My memory was a very light clutch, but I was used to a very heavy Ducati setup.
I use three banks, so three apps. One app won't connect unless I disable my VPN. I complained.

Umm what? Am I missing something? Have spoofable IPs become a foundation of banking security? What about when my ISP uses dynamic IP? What happens when I connect via my telco, not ISP? OS, using a different SIM?

TBH, I'm rather surprised you had to do the test on a bike you're not legally allowed to ride before passing the test. I wonder if that's the same in other states. Not in my day, but I can't remember what my son did in *his* day (also many years ago).
And surely a Honda4 has a light clutch - or is faulty... Light clutches were one of their selling points!
