Can we have instant search like discourse has?

Search improvements
When searching for a topic that contains the word github I get the following result:
However it is extremely unintuitive to navigate to that topic from the search result:
- Topic title isn't clickable
- The username takes up way too much place and lures attention away of the content (the topic that contains github)
- the result entry seems to have a lot of white space, not sure why that is
- The only way to navigate to that topic in question is to click on the "posted" link.

Preview next to write
Can we have the preview and write window displayed at the same time? For Example:
Having them as clickable buttons is just an annoyance rather then a feature.

Reply mechanics
When you click on an individual reply and you want to reply to that user, you currently just create a reply starting with @username.
On top of that I'd like for the forum to also keep track of the topic you replied to and give people the option to click open the conversation:
This is an example topic with a couple of replies:
Topic 1
USER: D
CONTENTS: I'm new here so I decided to make a topicPost X
USER: A
CONTENTS: Hello!
META: This post has 1 reply in Post Z, click to view that reply.Post Y
USER: B
CONTENTS: I'm not a reply to any previous post in this topic, I'm a general reply to the topic.Post Z
USER: C
CONTENTS: @A Hey!
META: This post is in direct reply to Post X, click to view post X

RE: Any Body Been Theming Recently? :)
@trevor whatever happened to your theme? I love it and would really like to use it.

Post Reactions
Instead of the current Upvote - Downvote mechanic, I suggest having multiple "reactions" to a topic, for example:
All Users: Like, Dislike, Genius, Funny, Off-Topic, ...
Moderators/Admin: Promote/Stamp of Approval- Every user can toggle any of the reactions available to him/her.
- The post would then show how many of each reaction it has.
- If a post has too many dislike / off-topic it can slowly be faded out.

RE: UX: Post editor design
Thanks for the reply, I wasn't aware of how the task-bar worked, that's pretty neat! I would however change the way it looks, it isn't styled like a task-bar if you know what I mean. When a users first sees the task-bar (my initial impression as well) was a big white box serving no purpose.
I would solve the Markdown notice with an (i) button that gives you some information about and how to use the editor (That it uses markdown, that you can upload with drag and dropping, etc...)

UX: Post editor design
There's a couple of things that don't seem to fit with the editor:
- The buttons (Bold, Italic, ...) don't feel like buttons.
- What's up with the huge white bar at the bottom? The color break with the transparent gray is kind of harsh.
- The text (Content is parsed with Markdown...) doesn't fit at all and is in the way of a smooth UI.
- It's unclear that the New Topic button at the bottom right minimizes the editor (probably shouldn't be located at the bottom right)
- When you are writing a reply and click on reply to another post, your content you were writing is immediately removed without a way back. The user should be prompted if they really want to clear their editor.

RE: Reply mechanics
@psychobunny So does that mean you guys will be looking into something like this?

RE: Preview next to write
@psychobunny Not sure what you are proposing.
So I write text in the composer and a preview reply would appear in the topic?
I guess either way would be fine, as long as the user gets instant feedback/preview on the markdown he/she is writing.
