@mschwartz you should be able to add a widget with such a "register now!!" message.

help | Serve course full timesIf you have 200G of disc space, you can add a lot more swap. I'd do at least 8G assuming you have the space.

help | Serve course full times@LEVI-HAVIV where is the server? What is it running on?
Given what you're seeing, my first action would be to back up everything and either wipe and reinstall everything on the server or just start up a new one and see if the issue continues to happen.

NodeBB 3.4.0@brazzerstop lint-staged is a dev-dependency, not sure why it's showing up there but you can safely ignore that warning.

[nodebb-plugin-emoji] Emoji Plugin@dave1904 if you have a ton of emojis, you could just make a pack. They're pretty easy to put together

Custom button placement on bottombar on smartphonesYou should probably add it to both places and just change whether it's displayed based on the screen size in CSS.

Upgrade v3.4.1 to v3.4.2 | error: uncaughtException: Cannot find module '/opt/nodebb/node_modules/request-promise-native/lib/rp.jsI'd recommend trying deleting
node_modules
and then runningnpm install

Build in advance/single executable to deploy@Thom I'd recommend trying building while stopped first using the CLI
./nodebb stop ./nodebb build ./nodebb start
You could even try
./nodebb build --series
and see if that works -
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue I can assure you that NodeBB has always only supported a single URL since the beginning. It may be that recently something else changed either in NodeBB or in browsers that made cross-origin images not show up.
But the solution is quite simple: just make
www.example.com
redirect toexample.com
in your reverse proxy config. Having a single canonical URL is better for more reasons beyond just working correctly with NodeBB. -
Emoji's size adjustmentNot sure exactly why this happened with v3 but you should be able to add
!important
to make it work:.emoji { height: 60px !important; }

upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue yes.
-
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue it will be in your reverse proxy config, such as nginx.
-
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue NodeBB doesn't support accessing from multiple URLs. Instead of serving it on both
example.com
andwww.example.com
, redirect one to the other. -
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue can you share the exact markdown of that post? It doesn't appear to have been parsed as an emoji.
Maybe try changing the priority of the emoji plugin. It should be after markdown.
Edit: at first the image didn't load but now it is, not sure what the problem is. Seems like the browser thinks the image is cross-origin when it isn't.
-
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missing@sharonyue the image is not loading here because of a NotSameOrigin error, so a different reason entirely.
In this topic on your forum the main post has a
:baobao:
emoji that appears to be working just fine.Is that one working on your end?
-
upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missingThe
?v=
doesn't matter. Do other emoji images have the same problem? May just be a problem with that particular image. You say it's a gif, but it has a.png
extension. Maybe that's the issue?
