Despite some accurate reporting from Dutch authorities militarized police units have none the less been seen arresting Moroccan locals accused of defending the taxi driver.

Dutch police commissioner reportedly accurately informed politicians that the entire violent episode started when Israeli fans burned a Palestinian flag and pulled a Morracon taxi driver from his car and beat him in the street.

This prompted an immediate response from bystanders.

Word to the wise, the WA national guards are creeping around town until the 9th. This means SPD is out to make arrests and manufacture a story of election interference to justify the expenses of the guard deployment, probably wise to laylow or at least not play directly into the hands of the cops. If there's a time they gonna over charge its this week. Imo, this is the highest arrest risk time period we've seen in years.

Election night demos in Seattle resulted in 5 comrades being arrested and at least one person's bail was set extremely high.

I intentionally didn't post about the Tuesday night demos bc I could tell it was going to be an arrest fest for little to no gain, I definitely hope these organizers get more strategic. This was awfully predictable and I hope the arrested comrades make it out alright through this and evolve their strategies accordingly.

The Gaza Pier is back in the news with the very disappointing and disgusting development of yet another Black American military member dying in vein supporting Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

In May 23-year-old Sgt. Quandarius Davon Stanley was seriously injured while assisting in transport of the anemic amount of aid delivered by the US Gaza pier. He had been hospitalized ever since and passed away this weekend from those injuries.

I've let go of one too many situations that I really should have taken to court. Unfortunately, we live in a country where laws are optional for the wealthy, and the "justice" system is only meant to exploit the poor, never to serve us.

This attack came just weeks after my partner and I had a baby. I want to make this world a better, safer place for my family and the next generation. And I want to start with this city: a place that I love, but a place where Black lives are all too expendable.

I've lived in Seattle for 15 years. I've survived many forms of discrimination. I've been fired illegally, stalked by a landlord, harassed by cops, and had my life torn apart in court. Now I've been assaulted by a private citizen and I really, really want to do everything possible to hold them accountable.

In order to pursue criminal charges and a civil suit, I need to hire a great private investigator + lawyer.

Between climate change, anti-LGBTQIA legislation, and voter suppression, many people are fleeing other parts of the country and trying to come to "safe" cities like Seattle. But if there are no consequences for violent white supremacists here, where are we safe? Where can Black & queer people go if we are attacked in a "safe" city when we simply protest racist, transphobic laws?

I suffered a head injury and concussion, and the police have done nothing—they didn't even show up to look for the attacker until the next morning, and made it difficult to file a report.

Instead of condemning the lynch mob who threatened and assaulted me, Seattle's city council members discussed writing a law to ban protests around politicians' homes, yet another unconstitutional law.
