An exchange with @emi made me think: When I think of the call to "proceed at the speed of trust," I automatically think of slowing down. Our eagerness leads us to skip steps or fail to build strong foundational practices or shared understandings. But what happens to trust if you go too slow? People drift away, trust begins to seem less necessary to action, solidarity less crucial.So, proceed at the speed of trust can sometimes be a call to speed up, to take chances, to put our trust at risk.
