If you’re in the market for a new, free, and un-Googled #Chromium #browser, #Vivaldi continues to be the best out there!

@docpop Ok, you got me, I’ll finally try yo-yo’ing again.
@jessamyn Eventually, every first-party interface has to become all things for all people, moving the interface choices to third-party apps.
@phanpy is great for web, and @ivory is my favorite for iOS (though my reading is done in Tapestry, still in private beta from the heroes at @Iconfactory ).
"Remember when commenting on #blogs and interacting with other commenters was one of the core pieces of enjoying the web? @pfefferle is making commenting cool again with #ActivityPub for #WordPress, a plugin that seamlessly connects your WordPress website to the #fediverse. In Episode 4 of The Fediverse Files, @docpop and Matthias talk about fediverse applications that apply beyond social media, and where the ActivityPub protocol can go in the future."
@kubikpixel @docpop @jessamyn @evan If I had to guess, since the video series introduces and teaches people with no (or little) knowledge about the Fediverse, it makes sense to have it on YouTube. If you already use PeerTube, you probably already know what it’s going to cover.
@docpop @jessamyn @evan It also made me realize that my email analogy (you don’t need a Gmail account to email with someone at Gmail) is doomed by familiarity. Everyone knows what email is, but while everyone knows podcasting, they don’t all know RSS. “This powerful tech has been right under your noses, and this new powerful tech is quite similar,” goes much further.
IDK if this will work until my next post, but if you want to follow my blog in the #Fediverse without all my other blah blah, check out @macmanx.com
I’ll still cross-post here too, of course, but I was inspired by @docpop’s Fediverse Files series on YouTube and used @pfefferle’s #ActivityPub plugin for #WordPress to add another following option for just MacManX.com besides RSS and email.
