@julian Ah nice, thanks. Is this listed in the plugins category? Didn't see it last time I searched.

Option: Follow topics you reply to automaticallyWell, this depends on your use case of course, but it could be set to be opt-in by default.

Anti SpamAny updates on anti-spam plugins or features?

Option: Follow topics you reply to automaticallyWell, I did want it to be an option in settings as to whether it's automatic or not. I personally find it a useful feature, but with NodeBB's notifications as messy as they currently are, I guess it could be annoying.
At least make the Watch option easier to get to or more prominent, it's unintuitive where it is now, behind that tiny heart icon.

Has anyone seen medium.com?I personally don't like it. I've read some good articles on there, but a lot of bad ones as well. Seems more of a soapbox platform than a blogging platform.

Last Position PopupSeems to be the way it works for me too. I also think it needs to be styled up some more, maybe with a down arrow symbol and have it just say "return to last position" or "return to first unread post" in a slightly bigger font.

Option: Follow topics you reply to automaticallyTurns out this issue was closed without any apparent progress made, due to opinion differences. https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues/1369
I still think this needs to happen in NodeBB somehow, and I'd love to see it as core functionality, rather than a plugin. Automatically watching a topic you've replied to is a core and default feature/user setting on most forum software, and even on social networks such as Facebook and Google+, which notify you by default when there's a new comment made on a post you commented on.
NodeBB isn't like most forum software, which is why I like it, but this is a feature that would really help keep discussions flowing, because not everyone is going to click the Watch button (if they can even find it, which is another issue by itself) or take up permanent residence upon the Unread page.Pinging devs: @julian @baris @psychobunny

Users shouldn't be able to purge their posts.@a_5mith It's probably the best ignore system ever invented for a community, and if you're interested in psychology it can be fun if they descend into raving madness, trying to get people to reply to them, or just slowly stop interacting with the community.

Who is using NodeBB?@baris Just wanted to point out some links in the list that either no longer use NodeBB, hosting is down, or have expired domains:

Users shouldn't be able to purge their posts.Agreed. I've had problems with other software where users would get mad, leave, and delete their content or edit their posts and make them blank.

Digital Ocean DropletI would go with 64-bit in case you need to resize your droplet for more RAM in the future, if your NodeBB forum gets super popular. It's not really hurting anything to go with 64-bit anyway.

Homepage as "all topics" view@a_5mith Oh cool, I'll check that out.
-
Homepage as "all topics" viewI'm looking to set up a NodeBB forum, which used to be on Vanilla. I really like how on Vanilla, all the topics/threads are listed on the homepage, and how you can create a topic from the homepage via the "New Discussion" button, like this:
It still has categories in this setup, but the homepage shows all the topics. Here's a screenshot of the New Discussion page, where you have a menu where you can choose which category the topic goes in:
I really like Vanilla's setup, and I think it would be even better as an option or plugin in NodeBB.

Replying to posts: Move reply cursor to after username@baris awesome!

Replying to posts: Move reply cursor to after usernameCurrently, when you reply to a post in a thread by clicking the Reply link on that post, it inserts the username into the editor and puts the cursor before the username. In my opinion, and this may just be because I'm using to the way mentions work on Twitter, I think the cursor should be automatically placed with a space after the username, like this:
as opposed to this, the way it currently works (although it does add a space at the end of the username):
With the way it currently works, I press the End key on my keyboard and I'm fine, but I think it would be nice if the cursor just started there anyway. Might just be me, though.

NodeBB integration with Tapatalk@Kostya-Vasilyev For those users, perhaps they can make an exception for your NodeBB forum considering its great mobile interface?

Cant feel input while register, because of "notification browser popup"Can you please clarify the following: Do you mean you cannot put your cursor into a field on the registration page because of a browser popup asking if you want to see notifications from this community?
Also, what browser are you using and do you have any extensions installed in it?
-
Arrows don't work? What browser are you using, what extensions do you have installed, and what OS are you running @zenkamal? That info may help the devs out.

Webhosting.@Valery-Kharshats Yes indeed! I use them exclusively.
