I’d quite like to get an L shaped desk that could go from sitting to standing electronically.@kestral I have an Uplift desk. They are not cheap. It’s like 1/2 to 3/4 inch solid wood. (Mine is mesquite.) I’ve had it for close to 10 years. It’s held up perfectly, and they’re made in Austin.

There’s always this assumption that “independents” are just between political parties and not extremely radical in one form or another.@thedansimonson there’s also the assume that independents are logical and consistent.
The most insightful thing I saw was Jamelle Bouise on TikTok pointing out that they’re literally the least engaged voters. “I need more specifics” and “I’m an independent” sounds much better than, “I haven’t been paying attention”
Also “I’m an independent” sounds like you’re smart, even though you really vote a particular way, or you don’t want to say how you vote
