interesting in the chatgpt web interface, the limiting factor in terms of conversation length appears to the the WebUI which gets slower the longer the conversation continues.

in just the last *5 minutes* I've been to an important page of a massive chip design and ecosystem company whose hero carousel didn't work (worse tan simply didn't work), and then a major OS company's dev conference website that broke basic browser UI/back button/history.We treat the web like a 5th class citizen.
