Coalition-building is going to be difficult if us white people refuse to look in the mirror and refuse to confront people who look like us. What is evident to everyone else is we can't be trusted.Edit: yes, this includes "good" white people. Actions speak, deflecting blame and punching down is a purposefully chosen action.
