Hi,

i have an user account which i cant ban or delete. If i try there is a message that the user does not exist.
How can i delete this user now? (And why is this happen?)

@oplik0 thank you for your answer. Traffic management is already on, because we saw a lot more 503 before this was on. Also we reduced the session time down to 3 days.

A bit backround infos of the forum:
I dont know if 400 up to 1500 connections permanent is massive for nodebb or not.
We have around 1.2 million site calls per day.
Our user base growing permanently since we have started our project back in 2015, actually 21400 users are registered. Per week 100+ new registrations actually, during Winter this rate will increase.
The most of the users are from countrys with german language, but also english, dutch, russian and portuges are on our forum.

we are getting problemes with the ram consumption of nodebb processes, now we are restarting nodebb weekly. That isnt a real problem, but a bit uncomfortable.
So i decided to write a watchdog that is watching on the nodebb processes and their ram consumption. If a process hits a configuarable limit, the watchdog should stop the process and start a new one.

Now my question: Is it possible to block a nodebb process for accepting new connetions? I want to prevent that the users are kicked when the process is stopped.

Yesterday one of our user has contacted us. He has told us that his e-mail is visible on google and that he is thinking it is our fault.
But after we cheked it, we can see that his email isn`t visible now, but it was in the past.

My question is now, can we see when a user is change his setting and log this? Or is there already a log for it?

One last question: Can you block also cookies from 3rd party plugins, like google analytics?

Hi there,

due to a new judgement of the European Court of Justice the visitor has to opt-in for cookies.

So we are looking for a possibility to ask the visitors for their OK before the forum set it. And if they say No we have to respect this and do net set a cookie. Law says a No isn`t a reason to block the access to the site.

I know the 'We are using Cookies' section but could not find a setting for opt-in.
Has anyone hints to this topic?

After a search is done you can go page by page thru results. But if you want to go fast by jump to last/first page, the search will be executed without optional search settings.

@julian i know that. But its not the same as a E-Mail notification.

Hello everyone,

is it possible to block E-Mail notification until next time login?
For now the notification on New Posts is Luke spam, if there are a lot oft traffic on a topic.
