@honzajavorek @zoul About the empty timeline, there should be follow suggestions appearing automatically when you first sign up, are you not seeing them?A lot of the other stuff people find confusing is due to the different structure of Mastodon and the Fediverse, and there are important reasons for this structure (https://fedi.tips/why-is-the-fediverse-on-so-many-separate-servers/).It would be a lot easier and more convenient to all be on one server as other networks do, but that would allow Musk scenarios to happen etc.
