Here's the original
@julian posting this from my tablet so don't have the original to hand. Can get a copy if need be?
Perhaps your logic is sound and @psychobunny's CSS is off? He is a Spurs fan after all
Hey guys
I just uploaded a new profile photo and it seems slightly squashed?
HNY everyone! Here's to a fantastic 2016!
Merry Christmas all!
@Kowlin just a side note, I always make sure I require email verification which seems to stop spoof email addresses at the point of registration.
@julian have you guys thought about doing something like nodechat.org? This feature is so killer, you could easily make a successful sister project
@baris you rockstar! This is such a killer feature!
$250 would be ~5 hours work for any half decent designer (if you're lucky). I think a theme would take far longer than 5 hours to develop. Not wishing to put you off though, but you should be aware of that.
When using ./nodebb upgrade
, I get the following error:
Error: Command failed: npm WARN package.json [email protected] No README data
npm WARN deprecated [email protected]: pngjs2 has now taken over the original pngjs package on npm. Please change to use pngjs dependency, version 2+.
Any idea how to resolve this one?
On 2nd thoughts, I think it supposed to work like that?
When I navigate around the forum, the loading indicator (the thin blue line at the very top of the page that goes from left to right) momentarily gets stuck ~3/4 along. It's smooth up until that point and after that point. This seems to be the same on whatever page I'm looking at
Anyone else seeing the same?
This looks like a great opportunity to improve accessibility. +1
Happy birthday @psychobunny!
My interest in NodeBB came about after comparing ~6 projects that developed forum software. I found NodeBB:
a ) looked the best
b ) felt zippy and app-like when navigating around
c ) had a friendly and enthusiastic community
d ) was open sourced through GitHub
If it wasn't for the geek in me wanting set up my own install, I'd have paid for it because it was the only forum software on the market that felt 2015. Almost everything else I tried felt 1999 (there were some 2004s).
Incredible design, can't wait to see the HTML!

we could have a pre-release channel that upgrades a week before a new milestone launches, so some users can test it out and report back
I'd be happy to do this. I already run master
locally, and upgrade X.X.X
locally before doing anything on my production site.
How would you let us know something is ready for testing?
There was some talk last month about the style of the page. Think the plan was to revamp it?
