Not a direct answer but take a look at @julian's "down voter" plugin, https://github.com/julianlam/nodebb-plugin-dwnvtr You may be able to modify the algorithm to look for something specific to a "resolved" post or you could copy out the opacity bits and add it to the Custom CSS setting area.
