Heroes are a lot more reactive than villains. Their stories tend to start with someone else causing a problem for them to fix.Heroes are a lot more reactive than villains. Their stories tend to start with someone else causing a problem for them to fix.
Villains on the other hand, don't need to be prompted. they can just be like "you know what, I want to freeze the entire city and give it to penguins." and work to achieve that goal. it's not as exciting to try to restore normalcy. You wanna see that penguin city realized

Shout out to everyone smart enough to figure out that "They're eating the dogs and cats!" is just a lie that racists say, but not smart enough to figure out that "They're closing drug stores because of shoplifting!" is exactly the same thing. https:/...@mekkaokereke everything up till "Other retailers have also shifted" sounds like they're finally going to address that it was a lie

see, back in my day, games were different.Anyway planet of the apes happened when video games got too advanced

see, back in my day, games were different.there are some people who use emulators for ethical reasons but i don't really see why using a bird is any better

see, back in my day, games were different.*picks up controller* welp, time to torture the ape
-
see, back in my day, games were different.nowadays we don't go so barbaric. Instead of running through monkey after monkey, modern councils have a specifically bred microape strapped to a sophisticated torture device that would subject them to new and unique varieties of pain for every type of button input.
At some point animal rights activists insisted video game consoles launch in generations, so that the apelettes only have to endure that pain for 10 years or so. Only a handful of gamers are cruel enough to still play retro games.

see, back in my day, games were different. The initial games were $700 and all they could do is change the bulb's blinking patterns.
Eventually Toshiba came out with an expansion port. It was this electric chair you would strap a small monkey into. The manner in which the monkey was shocked opened up a whole new avenue of output besides just the light bulb, it was a bigger jump for gaming than 3D

see, back in my day, games were different.see, back in my day, games were different. we didn't have fancy graphics or anything like that. my first console was a Toshiba Recreationizer, it was this steel box, nearly featureless aside from a lightbulb and a cube.
You could whisper into the tube and the light bulb would light up sometimes. Not because of the other, mind, those were two unrelated events. -
