That's how rich people can get tax free income is by borrowing on their assets, but in the case of his Truth Social stock, it's got to be a corrupt bank if they're willing to take its stock as collateral imo.

I expect that the orange chump will soon announce the sale of 40 or 50 million shares so that he can afford to pay his fines to New York and E. Jean Carroll. -

Döpfner, the CEO of Politico, lauds Trump as having had the most accomplished administration in the last 50 years in his email.

I have the impression that Marc Caputo is a Trump advisor. -
What Dr.@mastodonmigration @Noupside
It was fascinating to learn that the top selling pamphlet post-printing press late 15th century was Malleus Maleficarum, usually translated as the Hammer of Witches.Witch hunting, burning, and other atrocities followed. Better access to information does not lead to a better informed population sadly since it seems that malinformation is more popular than good information.

What Dr.@Noupside
I heard Ari Melber interview an author of a new book recently who made a good case that every technological advancement in communications has caused turmoil in society similar to mass psychosis.I think the name of the book is 'Nexus'?

Putting sails on a LNG vessel is a good example of putting lipstick on a pig.Putting sails on a LNG vessel is a good example of putting lipstick on a pig.
It is in a lot of ways, but also there's no doubt that LNG will continue to be part of the energy mix for at least a decade so it actually will help out marginally and helps move that technology forward so I'm not 100% opposed.
I wish that we didn't call it LNG because there's nothing natural about extracting methane to burn, but I'm not in charge of language either.

One of my favorite things about VP Harris being a nominee to be POTUS is how many young people she will help convince that public service even within the realm of politics is a noble endeavor. One of my favorite things about VP Harris being a nominee to be POTUS is how many young people she will help convince that public service even within the realm of politics is a noble endeavor.

I am SO EXCITED about switching our home heating & cooling system from oil & traditional A/C to #geothermal!!@chris @ikuo1000
The neighbor effect is one of our most powerful tools towards achieving more decarbonization more quickly. Thanks so much for investing in a ground source heat pump system for your home, ikuo.

Kind of annoyed by this "Trump fell for fake internet theory" stuff.@mastodonmigration
This 100%.Our media and political pundits treat Donald Trump like he is easily manipulated yet they don't find it at all contradictory to also treat him as someone who should be given the nuclear codes and all of the other powers available to a POTUS.

The biggest draw for these solar powered street lights that can charge EVs may be the fact that they can tap into the existing infrastructure, with its BeamSpot units requiring no "new or upgraded utility grid circuits, trenching, construction, easemen...@Rycaut
I doubt they'll sell many with the wind turbine option. That seems gimmicky, but it might appeal to some buyers just for the novelty, but they could prove useful in some circumstances perhaps like in places like Wyoming where the energy in the wind is often more than from the photons. You are exactly correct about them not working well very close to buildings and trees.

Range anxiety is frequently cited as one of the biggest turnoffs of electric vehicles.@chris @janrosenow
The companies will follow the consumers. The sooner more people start to realize that burning fossil fuels is immoral the faster EVs will be forced by market forces to become what the majority of people want in a car, truck and every type of vehicle. -

This is true: "In context, the Tenet Media episode shouldn’t be blown out of proportion.@tchambers @KamalaHarrisWin
We will never know what impact organizations like Tenet Media had on things like the six-month delay for U.S. aid to Ukraine because we do not know how many legislators based their votes on what their constituents learned from the influencers working for the Kremlin. -

Joining the US military has a lot of benefits.@RememberUsAlways @Raccoon @Dodo_sipping
Raccoon and Null Agent are willing to throw our soldiers under the Trump campaign bus in order to push their anti-USA ideology it looks like to me and I also find that behavior appalling. -
Via Angry Staffer:@GottaLaff
Trump has so badly drained the coffers of the RNC and dried up support from his grassroots small donors with his constant grifting not to mention spending so much on legal fees that putting all his eggs in the basket of spending it all to win in Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina is probably his hope.Hopefully it is a futile hope.

So, this commercial solar installer, @CommercialSolarGuy came to #Mastodon during the major #TwitterMigration but like so many others went back since so many of his colleagues stayed there shortly afterwards.@CommercialSolarGuy
Glad to help, I'm following people like @costasamaras.bsky.social on here so you can ask him how he federated and whether he can see my replies etc.I've had a few people from Threads kind of interact with my replies.
