Your UX is bad? Your UI looks old?
Accessibility sucks? Perf is bad? Design team can’t ship stuff? Customers annoyed by tons of bugs? Everything takes too long to build? No time for small usability improvements?

Every problem at every company I’ve ever worked at eventually boils down to “please dear god can we just hire people who know how to write HTML and CSS”
@scott @futurefonts @djrrb I think they spoiled me rotten, yeah! So much easier and simpler.
If not then at the very least pls provide test fonts if your type foundry is gonna do this! Every project needs desktop and web fonts!!
Font licensing like this feels like the very worst of ~proprietary software~ and feels so very anti-web / open platform. I get the history and the $$$ behind it but as a user I just want to buy a file that I own that I can open everywhere, in every place, every time, and forever.
In the year of our lord 2024 it is so very dumb that there's separate font licenses/pricing for web and desktop. I get it, I get it. But also it's such a frustrating experience to just...use the fonts and make cool things with them.
