@PaulaToThePeople I'd appreciate your help with finding the right replacements for the F-word app and Insta. I left Twatter a long while ago. What I will miss about F is the community pages for all my interests. Insta less so. I joined BlueSky but so far I feel like I'm stumbling in a dark room. Realistically, to pull people away from Meta, alternatives need to offer easy and clear community building tools and organisational presentation. What do you recommend?

I've been saying for years that I'm a rubbish #sewist but I recently joined a Morris side either my other half and the look involves wearing fancy tailored jackets made of curtain or upholstry fabric so needs must! Our two jackets are truly the first garments I've ever made (pictured is mine) . I just took it steady, followed instructions, and took apart a cheap charity shop tailored jacket to see how it is done by the professionals. The main challenge was pattern matching the pieces.
