well you remember a few months ago, when I had just left my job I ended up stepping on a plug and making a huge cut on my foot?

that plug was for the sun lamp and while stepping on it, I bent the prongs and I was just trying to bend them back and one snapped off

so unless I find a new plug or more likely buy a new lamp, that's that

I do feel very much like I'm dragging myself through doing this stuff, but I also know moping around will likely not help

I don't know; I just feel sort of old and not worth the effort.

and I don't even like mentioning that because it makes me feel like I'm just being sad for attention

might be worth pulling out my sun lamp also, but I can take a look at that later tonight

read a bit more of Pedagogy of the Oppressed, which mostly concerns itself with attacking mainstream education techniques, which it refers to in my translation as "banking education" in that knowledge is transferred from its owner, the teacher, into the student through techniques like memorization. pretty common thing people rail about.

but the way it ties it to a view of the world as objects separate from people is definitely an interesting suggestion of why banking education is that way.
