Setting up NodeBB on cloud 9 -

Here are some tips!
- Don't use the latest branch if you want something stable!
- Setup a dev and try the updates before production use.
- NodeBB is free and Opensource. You can't simply complain on the support for something that is free man.
- Learn nodejs and try to help out. There are a lot of things that we need help with.
- If you need help and require support there is a simple way. Just pay for support. We have a lot of people here that are willing to help out for a small fee. (Me included, mostly have swedish customers but an exception can be made)
I agree with your point of view. Time is priceless, it is impossible to spend 24 hours to help others free of charge.
No one asked you to spend 24 hours providing support.... a few minutes every now and then could really help people out.

How to cover the original domain with a different one?Hey
So i seen people have a certain domain for their sites (in this case nodebb) but they cover it with another domain....for example lets say the original domain of a nodebb forum is example.nodebb.org but you make another domain community.nodebb.org how do u make it stay as community.nodebb.org in the browser without it redirecting to the original domain? In this case, i wanna use dot.tk.
Also a quick reply to @julian in my previous topic https://community.nodebb.org/topic/9361/i-need-someone-to-setup-nodebb-for-me/11 (i can't reply to him there as it got locked)
I managed to do it for free using cloud 9

State of available plugins@PitaJ said in State of available plugins:
As with any open system, some projects will be abandoned due to lack of interest of available free time from the developer in charge. If you see a plugin that doesn't appear to have recent activity and which doesn't work on newer versions of NodeBB, then most likely it is abandoned. The only way to find out if a plugin works is to test it yourself at this point, though I believe a thing is planned that will automatically check plugins for failures to run for each new release of NodeBB, and would notify the respective maintainer(s) of that incompatibility.
Lets say an old plugin crashes nodebb ... How do we manually uninstall that plugin?
