@octothorpe Ha! The Lear shows were a nice antidote for me especially give my parents’ awful politics.

Occurs to me GenX boys grew up on a lot of TV shows from the 50s-60s because reruns were the only fun thing to watch after school. (Kid-specific programming was far from 24 hrs a day)
So we absorbed a lot of “Father Knows Best” type tropes where the man has an inherent authority & privilege.

I am thinking about a replay of Disco Elysium bur given our current moment that would be either a amazing idea or a terrible idea

As I finished a bowl of cereal this evening, I suddenly realized I don’t like cereal-milk flavored food products because subconsciously it feels like the milk is from somebody else’s cereal bowl.
