To the casual observer, I was staring at a blank page.
Look closer.
At the scale where the page is an uneven rubble pile of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, the spaces between are a foam of ideas, forming and annihilating quickly enough that by the time an idea attracts the attention of the laws of physics, it has moved on out of their jurisdiction.
Let the edges of your perception blur with the paper, a quantum superposition of emptiness and possibility. When conditions are right, a fleeting idea may leap from page to mind.
Grasp it, pull it apart before it can self annihilate. There is no free lunch; this will consume some energy.
Now, write it down before it decays.
