@soulz2003 as you probably noticed. The behavior is that a user automatically gets a notification if he makes the topic. Additional users can follow the topic by pressing the follow button(the eye icon)
Looks like a standalone app as opposed to a web library, unless I misread.
In any case, we don't typically offer compatibility with X markdown editor or whatnot for a variety of reasons:
Markdown can be disabled in favour of other parsing languages (like BBCode, etc)
There needs to be support for post-related functions offered by the existing composer, such as topic images, file uploads, tags support, etc.
The short of it is, it takes quite a bit of work to ensure compatibility and full functionality, which is why at current we only support default and redactor.
I just want to know if a blog section and/or a forum section would be suitable for a website destined as a professional portfolio.
For example, a portfolio website maybe should never include a section about news or sports, as well as it should always include a section about the personal CV, but I don't know if a blog or a forum are ideal or convenient for the portfolio purpose.
