In nodebb, from default, only users that are "admin" can se the users bookmarks. If the user is a normal user can show only own bookmars but I want that this user can see all users bookmark. Anyone can help me?
@jarey thanks for pointing out that plugin. I had misinterpreted it's functionality before. When I saw "Max upvote weigh (points)" I assumed you could only use that configuration to scale the upvote-to-reputation ratio based on the reputation of the user doing the voting.
For others that run into a similar issue. Using the plugin Jarey pointed out, if you'd like to make 1 upvote = 10 reputation I was able to do that by setting:
Max upvote weigh (points) = 9
Since the default weight is 1 upvote = 1 reputation, and this plug in then adds the additional 9 reputation.
My best guess is that between .6 and .7, we made the decision to only show a certain set of profile settings. Prior to this change, any plugin could save any data into the user's account hash, which was a potential security vulnerability.
Now, you'll have to register a listener to filter:user.updateProfile, and append the field you want to save.
Yeah, gets very confusing once you factor in page #s and such. I'd prefer the "posts per page" and "topics per page" options remain admin-only, while allowing users to toggle between pagination and infinite scrolling.
A "hybrid" pagination+infinite scrolling would be nice as well, so you can get the best of both worlds.
