That's very annoying when attacker tried to brute-force my admin account so I'm tired of unlocking my account.
@hieudang use 2 factor authorization instead.
If they have no posts they are considered a new user, so until one of their queued posts is accepted all their posts will go to the post queue. If you are not using reputation make sure Reputation required to bypass post queue is set to 0 or lower.
I want to store the data in NodeBB's Mongo db. It will be retrieved later and displayed on a map..
To get the current post, in the context of the button click, use the data-pid selector.
var pid = $(this).closest('[data-pid]').data('pid');
Now for the current user, you would submit a socket or route call with your pid, and check server-side.
For sockets, you get socket.uid https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/blob/8ea5c060f50d1231c3ae3f7cbf5b2fe23ecf51e6/src/socket.io/notifications.js#L10
For routes, you get req.uid https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/blob/54c951cc816b83168083000ae3e08af6c07d4c73/src/controllers/user.js#L12
Solved: upgrade to NodeBB v0.7.0.
As far as I know, the code for blog comments has been reworked, and should be working fine for Wordpress 🙂
