W3C validation

The NodeBB homepage (Persona) currently has ~48 validation errors when you run the page through the W3C Validator.
When I checked last month, the error count was > 100. Much progress has been made but It'd be great to get NodeBB to validate. What do you guys think?

Haha I'm getting déjà vu here. Post issues on persona tracker I guess? I think we've discussed the big one being my bad for not using
data-component, which I'll personally trudge through for 1.0 -
data-component is a fix for ~20 of the errors and there's a few more "single" fixes that address > 1 error so validating won't be as hard as it looks.
But I was trying to rally some more eyes to look through the errors because there's some I'm stumped on how to fix best.
