What I see as beneficial is a core feature (or a plugin I supposed) that exposes the database (read-only -- either Redis or Mongodb) keys in such a way that an administrator could create his own search queries with desired results.
I envision a picker of the thing that can be searched, a way to filter the results and then a picker on what fields should be displayed.
Does something like this exist?
I have a problem, yet again...
So recently, I have discovered that when I start NodeBB, the page only loads the top bar. http://prntscr.com/7jts5k If anybody knows how to fix this, your input would be appreciated.
FIX: Stop the following services: redis-server & redis_6379. Run redis-server in the terminal to restart it. Restart nodebb.
@baris @bentael helped me out last night. Amongst other things he confirmed that too, that being on the index page results in an empty data.url. He did get me going using the location.href.
I have to say every one on this forum has been super helpful. I intend to make a donation to Nodebb in the near future.
