Is imgur the only image upload option ?

I am reading through the NodeBB docs. However something confuses me.

Is imgur the only option for images on a NodeBB forum or can images be uploaded and displayed directly without using imgur ?

Yes, they can be uploaded directly to your server if you like. I currently am using it that way.

I've enabled the BBCode plugin however does that mean that the ability to upload images disappears ?

Maybe I have configured it wrong in the settings, but I was able to upload images prior to adding the BBCode plugin.

Any help appreciated.

Edit: I've now solved this. It appears it's not possible to upload files with the BBCode plugin installed.
