I think we were planning on moving gravatar out into a plugin, which would open the doors for people to create their own plugin such as the one above

Thanks, the compose form is helpful. I'm surprised that I can't pre-populate any of the fields though. title and category specifically. Maybe there is a plugin that enables this?

It looks like the current importer plugin doesn't support avatars. Does anyone know if there is work in progress to make that happen?
