Speech plugin that reads post for you

More of an idea than anything.. would there be a use for this ? I have seen quite a few websites offering this service for free and the translation is quite human like and sounds ok. I have used it for assignments when I can't be bothered reading long research articles and it makes reading a bit less boring.
If this was implemented would it be useful in a forum? How could it be implemented - my idea would be to just incorporate it inline in posts as some sort of audio icon, simple , user hardly notices it but its there to serve a purpose.
Thoughts ?
Kind of example, has been done before in wordpress, but this is full scale one by the looks for vision impaired.

It could be useful. In the past I have used Opera's built-in voice engine and it worked great.
If you think about naturally sounding voices it would be nice to add language selection.
