Does NodeBB support subforums?

I admit, I've never heard of NodeBB before it appeared in my RSS reader today.

I find the front page a bit confusing but I guess this can be changed. More interesting: Does NodeBB support subforums? I'm looking for a decent forum software but subforums is one of the required features.
