Did you even read what I said? I wasn't saying that WordPress is worse than NodeBB or anything like that. I said that it's nonsensical to expect to be able to move from forum software with categories, topics, posts, replies, chats, etc to a blog system which doesn't even have built-in comments AFAIK.
NodeBB along side a few custom webpages?

So I'm reeaaaally liking NodeBB, it's very awesome! But I want to add a few custom pages to it. I basically want to make a website, and have node bb be the core of the website. For example, I want to have the chat across all pages. On a scale of one to ten (ten being very hard), how hard do you think this would be to make. I really want to avoid any hacky ways.

@SupaHam You could use Psychobunnys custom pages plugin to create pages, you can then drop widgets in them as you would for home.tpl and categories.tpl.
However I'm not sure if this issue has been sorted yet, I guess @psychobunny could tell us "fo sho".
