Is there a way to set up a Time-To-Live for a post?

For example, I want to have an option for a post to display for exactly 'X' hours (selectable between 1 and 72 hours) after it is posted and then not display anymore automatically.

Post still in the database and still viewable by poster (only), but gone from main forum.
