Deleting entire chat and preventing opening one

My version is all up to date. I searched but found only really old threads on this.
I notice that users can open a chat any time they want and that I've never received a notice about it.
More importantly, I wanted to delete all these old chats but there is no way of doing so other than removing separate comments.Notes;
1 There should be a way to remove an entire chat as a mod or admin. At the very top or bottom, an option to wipe the whole thing in one click.
I see manage chat room but the only options are to invite or leave the chat. It seems like leaving the chat doesn't remove it, it would remain there for ?2 There should be a way to prevent users from initiating a chat with mods and admins unless they invite the person first.
Is that the 'Only allow chat messages from users I follow'? If it's that, then maybe the chats that are there were before I checked this setting.
3 From the little I've read, it seems chats could remain for ever or for months, it's not clear which. As admin or mod, it would be nice to know of any chats on the site so they could be removed if needed, manually.
A good reason for this would be a scenario where someone could join, set up chats with friends, never take part on the site yet use up it's resources chatting non stop with many others and even leaving behind tons of attachments, images, etc that aren't even for the community.
If some of these things are there, I've not found them yet.
Is there a plugin that adds these capabilities or could they be considered for a future update?

If you are afraid of this, you can limit your chat only from certain reputation / posts / groups.
Secondly, what is it to remove a chat?
Do you want to delete it completely?
The files, the history, everything?
Both you and the other user?By the way, you can always disable the chat completely, if you want...
