404 on Read More click from home page

On a fresh .43 install (no plugins).
Clicking on Read More (on a category recent post teaser) will cause a 404. Going back to home and clicking again usually takes me to the message. This is somewhat intermittent in behaviour but consistent in the sense that it will always happen during a session. Happens in Chrome and IE11.

I also encounter this bug. Some times it work fine.

Seems to happen more often after a restart, after the first 404s it will eventually start pulling posts properly then at some point the connection will go stale and it'll 404 again. It's pretty consistent for me. About to try it out on the latest pull. Nothing in the logs/dev mode. Just 404s in the console.
