Is the nodeBB forum conform with EU legislation?

Hi,

i want to start a nodebb forum in the eu and i was wondering if anybody has experience with that considering the EU legislation about data protection and so on.
Are there some options that confilct with the new data protection law?
I dont want to get sued for something that is written in this law.

By default, NodeBB will present new users with an outline of GDPR rules and their rights and require their consent before continuing onwards.
