How to avoid creating topic in parent category?

Good morning again!

Suppose you have

• Category A
  • category A.1
  • category A.2

How can I prevent the "Create Topic" button to appear in parent category "Category A"? I've seen that if I set "Treat this category as a section" prevent me to access that category but also changes the color of the category in the Categories View making it different in color compared to the others and this is unwanted.

Am I missing anything here?

Just remove the rights to create topics in there from all users. You can still allow to create topics in the sub categories.
