@CaioDA Just disable them from the admin control panel. Options > Disable then Save.
Is it really that simple? Now I'm embarrassed... But, going along with what @planner said and @psychobunny pointed out, this is a very developer centered forum software with an initially steep learning curve. It's not quite plug and play. I recommend something like Foundation's Joyride to introduce new users to the system.
Update: But currently, there is no way to remove them completely (unless a forum restart is required or override them). That's a feature I'd love to see.
@julian @MatthewHawley Not sure if you got this working or not but you need to specify the application you are adding the addon to:
heroku addons:add redistogo:nano -a myapp
You can also login into the heroku control panel, choose the "Resources" section of your app, click the "Get Add-ons" link and add it there. Terminal is much easier though.
Hey all: so this is a slightly smarmy, self-serving request but hey, I am the marketing guy.
We are working with the Capterra directory to get some NodeBB reviews posted on their site. They have a program where they will give you a $20 gift card (I think you get a choice of Amazon, Starbucks or pre-paid Visa) if you are one of the first 25 people to click an emailed link and post a review. It doesn't matter if you say nice things or if you bash us, although of course we hope you'll be nice!
If you're interested and are running NodeBB yourself or using our hosting service, please DM me or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and email address.
There is a time limit, I need your response before Monday August 20 at 3 pm Eastern (Toronto/New York) time. A few days after that you'll get a separate email with the details for posting the review.
