We can use LESS insomuch that what is entered is parsed back out into CSS, but because we don't rerun "variables.less" from bootstrap, then you can't really use variables.
I'd recommend opening up an issue in our bug tracker so we can get this in if it's something you want
Or perhaps there is some way to specify which theme to use when starting the NodeBB server? I can't see a way to do this in the config.json file. Can it be changed on the command line? I'm starting it on Heroku by just running the app.js:
I used nodebb-theme-quickstart aswell for deep-space (galaxygraph theme) I think I didn't edit the readme.md
Nice theme Julian, may I suggest to not use transparency on categories since I guess the background can be changed it can cause issues of readability. I dig the idea of the big background photography rather than the content.
I have attached the screenshot below, the mixes category is the one that's causing me issues. I have also included the raw HTML below so you can see how it's affecting the p tags. General discussion is how it should look. Ideally with the soundcloud embedded. But that's another issue I can deal with later.
