Yep, the fading is intentional. Just a little stylish thing I threw in just for the lavender theme.
When it does disappear, it should transition to 0 opacity, although it's possible the transition is happning too quickly. Again, this is a lavender trait. In vanilla, there is no flair, just the keyboard (to maximize themability)
As for reloading the page, yes... NodeBB polls to see whether the composer is actually open, every 10 seconds.
You probably need to be more specific with your rule selector (the 'a' part). If another rule is more specific, it will overwrite yours. Examples:
An 'a' tag with a class: a.someclass
An 'a' tag as the child of a 'div' tag: div > a
An 'a' tag after a tag with an id: #someid + a
If any of such rules exist, they will overwrite yours. You can see what rules are active in most browsers by right-clicking something and choosing 'Inspect'
Other things: Make sure the little checkbox 'Use Custom CSS' below is checked. Try restarting nbb and clearing your browser cache if nothing else works.
@pichalite said in Custom Homepage: Recent + Categories:
Yes. Create a plugin to add recent topics data to categories route. Modify the theme template to show this data.
Could you add just a little more detail to this?
I have a custom homepage and Im trying to add a list of categories using:
<!-- IMPORT categories.tpl -->
But it just displays: No new posts.
Do I have to hook into something to add the category data?
