How to hide posts between users?

I was wondering if I can apply few settings to posts.

It would be so helpful if any of you can give me a response about those above.

Is it possible to hide posts from users? if so how?

You can control permission for user groups' view access

Is it possible to add a confirmation/approval for replies to topics? if so how?

Moderator approval ?

@meetdilip first of all thank you very much for your response.

What I want is I want to keep all the posts visible to users. However comments/replies to posts will be read by to Authors of the posts only.

Could this be possible?

I am not sure. You can either hide a thread/category to a group or allow it. Not able to do selectively. Wait for further replies.
