@Var1 See this topic for free ways to host NodeBB, however do note, the majority of these would not be suitable for a live forum. Digital Ocean is just $5 a month, and the link will give you $10 for free.

Then unfortunately you can't use NodeBB. A VPS is a requirement.

You mean you don't like paying for things, since x10 is a free (and absolutely terrible) host (also not cloud).

@xbenjii I am currently toying with the idea with selling NodeBB host on my dedicated server.
Depending on the time and effort I need to put into it I may not do it but for a few test forum I can maybe give it a go.

if you want your own server check out kimsufi, they sell servers for extremely low prices.

I really want to get my forum more members so i want to focus on that more.

Try reading the documentation.

Note: I believe vps.me requires that you install Ubuntu yourself first. I believe they only support up to 12.04, so you'd need to install the 32 bit version of that, then install NodeBB.
