What is the bet way to backup my NODEBB database on redis?

Just make a copy of it.

1. cd /var/lib/redis/
2. cp dump.rdb /place/where/you/store/files/dumpBackup.rdb

Btw, before doing that make sure you are in sudo bash.

Ah, don't forget to run BGSAVE in Redis first

Since Redis is in-memory, your .rdb file will be out of date until Redis writes to disk, so run BGSAVE first to persist, and then copy to safe location as per @markkus
