i tried getting rid of the stats widget, still not working.
what happens differently when you start in dev mode, seems weird it works fine in dev but not normal

btw, im on digital ocean running ubuntu

i upgraded node nodejs 4.4.0 and it still only starts in dev.
did you want the nodebb config?

so is there any fix to this?
i had it on 1.0.0 and still after upgrading to 1.0.1
its a clean install

any help would be appreciated

im also having this problem, it seems to only happen when the imgur plugin is active. Disabling it allows nodebb to start and work just fine

To make nodebb more accessible for people with no knowledge of css it would be cool if themes could have options to customize colors or at the very least have a few preset theme colors.
like this:

selecting one of the options would change the whole color scheme of the theme, kinda like bootswatches for vanilla but added by theme makers.

vanilla and lavander are both kinda preset up for this with the use of variables.less
if you could add a way to select 1 of X amount of variable files you achieve this idea.

this would allow people to get more and easier mileage out of each theme, and help designers trying to make pay themes

this would be the simplest approach i could think of with maybe the long term goal of greater theme customizing kinda like wordpress http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Customize_Screen

this plugin is awesome but i had some thoughts and maybe a bug

• first off, there should be an option to make it first post only
• second, say i have 100 users "in" does it show them all or stop at a certain number or once it meets the width of its container? maybe make it only list 5 people then plus some more, like this

  and clicking the more brings up a popover with all "in people"

there also seems to be a bug on the user profile page where if this was used in a recent post, its displayed to both logged in and non logged in users but cant be interacted with. it doesnt display avatars, just [ + I am in! ] [X]

im pretty sure its a compatibility thing, what if the theme your changing to doesnt have the same widget areas, since the widget areas are assigned by the theme

im having an issue where if im on any page and i click the site title, it reloads a blank page with just the header, but if i refresh the page through the browser it loads the homepage.

i want to make a menu for my home that has avatar, name, post count and reputation of the user logged in.
For some reason i just cant figure out how to do that, is there any global shortcodes or anything?
