Tiny bit of whining when we were in the shop and he saw another dog, but nothing concerning, and his posture and mannerisms were 'happy, curious', so nothing to worry about. He was also perfect in the car, quiet and chill.

He's a little chonky darling. :blobfoxheart:

all open plan downstairs, there's a doorway space between the kitchen and the big living/dining room but no door. So we stopped on the way back and got a doggy gate, just in case.

Anyway, since getting home, I've stood in front of him eating, he sat quietly in front of me watching me for a bit then lost interest and wandered off to get hugs from Alex on the sofa instead.

And he hasn't made a peep. No barking, no growling.

and indeed he would snatch the treats off us, my whole hand went into his mouth a few times Not hard, no biting, just glomming and over-eager. And he jumped up on me and almost bowled me over - he's short but VERY strong. He doesn't even come up to my knee, and I have tiny legs - but he weighs 28kg

They were concerned that he'd be a bit jumpy when we were eating food in front of him, and asked if we have a room we could close him in while we're eating. We don't really, our house is -

So, yeah, we thought better of the plan to get the caucasian shepherd becuase our house is tiny and he'd have been HUGE. Alex had seen Welly on their website and was already a bit smitten, and when we got there he asked if they had any staffs or bullies that were foster-able, and when they said Welly his eyes lit up. We met him in an enclosed paddock area first, gave him some snacks and threw a ball for him. We'd been warned he was very mouthy and jumpy -

@randomgeek hehe, I used to make mine's paws wet so they'd groom themselves and lick up the water

little bit of simulated sunrise and even though it went dark again when it switched itself off.

So I need to figure out how it works, maybe it goes to 15 minutes after the alarm time is set to give you 15 mins of extra 'morning light' or something

Anyway it also has a very pretty ambient light setting in nice pastel colours
